The director's cut is about 33 minutes longer than the original movie. A lot of scenes were paced slower especially the ones shot in a destination. I have not rewatched the original cut of the film, if I do watch it again I can probably edit this, but this is my memory of things that are only in the Director's Cut. The new Meteor Garden 2018 is set to be aired in August, so I've decided to watch Meteor Garden in preparation. Nowadays, there are lots of Japanese celebrities on Instagram, which helps fans from all over the world be updated on new projects, especially since information is scarce away from Japan. Some of the bilingual ones have English translations for their captions, but the "see translation" tab is useful for those that don't and is helpful for learning ( Read more... )
